The Articling Application and Interview process has very specific requirements and procedures set by the Law Society of Upper Canada and with the agreement of Law Firms in Middlesex County. But regardless of the process, we are looking for fit, passion and commitment. Read on to find out more about the application process, what we expect from you and what you can expect from us. How to Apply The timeline and procedures for the 2009-2010 Articling Application and Interview process have now been set by the Law Society of Upper Canada. They are as follows: May 9, 2008 - Deadline for Applications to be submitted May 12 to May 23, 2008 - Interview dates will be arranged May 26 to May 30, 2008 - Interview Week (interviews for out of province students may be held prior to May 26) June 2, 2008 - Offers of employment may be extended after 8 a.m.* *All offers extended to a student on June 2nd must be left open for acceptance for a period of 24 hours although students are requested to make their decisions as promptly as possible. Please forward your
application to the attention of our Articling and
Summer Student Committee Co-chairperson,
David Swift. We ask that all
candidates include in their application package their curriculum vitae
and copies of their transcripts from both undergraduate study and law
school (as current as are available). Writing samples and reference
letters are also welcome.
